EMIF is a 24-month, part-time Executive Master's program designed for professionals who want to strengthen their expertise while continuing to work.

The program provides a comprehensive 360-degree perspective on the insurance and financial services industry, combining strategic, managerial, financial, and technical knowledge. Its multidisciplinary approach enables participants to understand the complex dynamics of the sector and develop the skills needed to drive innovation, create value, and successfully lead change within their organizations.

EMIF offers a rigorous and practice-oriented learning experience, equipping participants with immediately applicable tools, methodologies, and best practices. At the same time, it fosters an integrated managerial mindset, helping participants develop a holistic view of the insurance business and make more informed strategic decisions.

The program includes approximately 20 months of classroom learning, with sessions held on Fridays and Saturdays roughly once every three weeks, followed by four months dedicated to the Final Project, during which participants apply the knowledge acquired to a real business challenge.

The part-time format has been specifically designed to enable participants to balance their professional responsibilities with their academic commitment. In addition to classroom sessions, most modules include mandatory online activities, such as tutoring sessions and project work, to reinforce learning and encourage continuous interaction among participants and faculty.

Curriculum Content:


EMIF is a specialized Executive Master structured around four integrated learning areas, designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry and develop the managerial, strategic, and technical skills required to successfully lead transformation and innovation.


LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

The program begins with a module focused on leadership development, team building, and collaborative learning. Participants are guided through an initial journey aimed at strengthening interpersonal skills, fostering networking among peers, and creating a solid foundation for effective teamwork. This introductory phase is complemented by an overview of the insurance market, exploring its main characteristics, trends, and strategic challenges.


INSURANCE INDUSTRY TRACK

This area provides a deep understanding of the insurance business, exploring industry dynamics, business models, market evolution, and regulatory frameworks. Particular attention is dedicated to Risk Management, connecting emerging risk scenarios with the development and management of insurance products and services.

The objective is to offer participants a comprehensive view of how insurance companies operate, combining technical, legal, regulatory, and operational perspectives to understand the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.


MANAGEMENT & FINANCE TRACK

This area develops the strategic and managerial capabilities needed to lead organizations and business units in a constantly evolving environment. Participants acquire tools and methodologies in strategic management, finance, digital transformation, and organizational development, with a strong focus on practical application.

The goal is to enable participants to translate knowledge into effective managerial decisions, drive performance improvement, and create sustainable value within their organizations.


BUSINESS IN TRANSFORMATION

The insurance industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by technological innovation, changing customer expectations, demographic shifts, and increasing sustainability requirements.

This area explores the impact of emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence, data-driven approaches, and ESG principles on insurance business models. Through the analysis of new market scenarios and innovative solutions, participants develop the ability to identify opportunities and address complex challenges, from climate-related risks to the ethical implications of AI adoption.


FINAL PROJECT

The Final Project represents a key component of the EMIF learning journey, allowing participants to apply the knowledge, methodologies, and tools acquired throughout the program to a real business challenge.

Through this practical experience, participants integrate the different perspectives developed during the classroom phase and demonstrate their ability to generate innovative solutions and create value within their professional environment.
