a computer system consisting of communication protocols and network infrastructures that allows recording any type of information
in a decentralized, transparent, secure, and immutable manner, resistant to any tampering or corruption.
The use of blockchain makes the information transmitted to interested parties traceable and verifiable, and this allows
to validate the credibility of the competences certified by the badge.

How does the verification work?
At the time of issuance, all the information contained in a C-BOX® badge is notarized in the blockchain:

Starting from the same set of data, the generated hash-code is always the same.
Even modifying just one bit of such data results in a completely different hash-code.
The cryptographic process that allows verifying that data has not been tampered with
therefore consists of generating its hash-code and comparing it with the hash-code originally saved on the blockchain.
The correspondence between the two codes is the indisputable and unequivocal proof that the information contained in the badge has not been modified after issuance.
